It’s not often I feature clients on the blog, even though many of you know I offer website and writing services for small business owners. Well, Chinky Quintos, one of my clients, has successfully launched her online boutique,, and I just want to share her joy in this, her newest “baby.” (Chinky is a new mompreneur, and the proud momma to Georgiana, who’s turning 1 this year.) Incidentally, is also a sponsor this August here on the blog. Yay!

Here’s the shop. Georgiana by Teresa’s Boutique is very dainty, don’t you think?

“Teresa is my mom’s first name. I have two older sisters and for us, our mother was and still is the model of timeless fashion. While growing up, she allowed us to indulge in different styles that eventually evolved into our love for clothes, accessories, and shoes! She is a great influence on us both as a mother and a style icon.” — Chinky Quintos, owner of

I actually had the opportunity to visit Chinky’s boutique, which is located in her family’s home. The boutique is a collaborative effort between Chinky and her sister, who lives in the United States. The boutique’s collection of carefully selected imported apparel, accessories and bed & bath products is a reflection of the sisters’ taste for high-quality, fashionable products.

“We provide affordable branded products for the pickiest shoppers. All items are original and authentic shipped directly from the U.S. We also offer Personal Shopper Services those who wish to purchase an item from the US with faster delivery service.”  — Chinky

Now a new mom, having given birth on October of 2011, Chinky embraces motherhood with a new-found passion, believing in (pseudo) attachment parenting, breastfeeding, cloth-diapering, babywearing, while still holding steadfast on her love for fashion. A self-confessed shopaholic, she enjoys looking for great finds but beyond that, she continuously believes in getting real value for money. This online store came to her as an idea during one of her buying trips taken while still pregnant with Georgie.

With the help of her husband and her beloved family, Chinky put up the boutique to enrich her knowledge on the latest baby products available in the market as well as to help fellow moms in the Philippines shop for their desire without having to spend on trips out of the country or pay for pricey shipping expenses. This store features premiere brands and products made more affordable for baby, mom, and even dads.

Dainty Mom’s picks

I myself have picked out some cool items from the store.

These Hurley onesies (Php649.00) just killed me with their cuteness! I knew I had to get them for my new nephew, Dylan, who’s daddy is incidentally a brand ambassador for Hurley here in the Philippines.

I was on a surf gear high, so I decided to also get this tie-dye Roxy dress for my sister-in-law, the new mom. I bagged this for just Php999.00!

Here’s a top that I already own from the boutique. It’s a stretchy, long, rayon blouse from Elie Tahari (Php899.00)

Payment is easy. The shop has several options (bank deposit, COD, credit card and PayPal. For PayPal, though, I sent a personal payment to Chinky.)

Aside from having a wide array of choices, the prices are affordable compared to imported items that you’ll find in tiangges or bargain booths in the malls. Also, you’re assured that the items in the boutique are original. I’ve been to the boutique myself, so I can tell you honestly that these are primo picks.
