OK, this isn’t a usual Currently Loving post, but I am just so giddy over this that I had to share it! If you must know, I’m a royal watcher, and I have been ever since I was a child. I was schooled in the British school system, and I lived in two former British colonies growing up (Hong Kong, then Singapore), so it was just part of life!

To be specific, I’m a fan of Princess Diana, so naturally, I’ve been a fan of her kids, too, Wills and Harry. I’ve wanted to visit the UK for the longest time because I’m enthused by its rich history, particularly its monarchy. I know that some people find the concept archaic, but I think it’s rather fascinating! The English have one of the oldest monarchies in the world, and it has interested me ever since I was a little girl.

I’m now a Duchess of Cambridge fan, even more than I was a Diana fan, I think! And now that Kate is a mum (I grew up spelling it that way, too!), I am even more intrigued by her and Prince William as parents!

But this post isn’t about the new Prince and heir. It’s about the uber-cute polka-dotted dresses that the Duchess has been wearing as a mum-to-be and now mum!

I was giddy over this simple black & white polka dotted dress from Topshop the first time she started showing. Source

… and the Royal couple proved to be more easy-going and natural than the Prince’s own parents back in the 80s! Source

I can’t wait to see what else happens next. I wonder if we’ll get to see little Prince George’s nursery (though I doubt it), or whether he’ll be wearing a street brand like Mothercare or something?!
