This is a post for Shopback, a company that lets you earn cash back when purchasing from partner merchants! We used it to shop online, as you can see right here!

I was invited to give Shopback a try some months ago. It’s a cashback site that pays you to shop with their partnered merchants! I used it to book a staycation for our family on Agoda. Well, I did get a percentage of my money spent back while shopping online, yay!

Signing up was simple. (I used the Facebook button.) The most important thing to remember is to follow the instructions immediately upon signup, so that you can set your browser and enable cookies so that your shopping purchases can be tracked by Shopback. You need this if you want to get your money back!

You can start shopping after completing the easy signup steps. (For me, it’s all about ease, otherwise I wouldn’t even bother!) I loved that the merchants included Zalora, Agoda, The SM Store — over 500 stores, to be exact.

Since we were looking to unwind after a very busy summer of working hard on both our businesses, we were looking forward to booking a nice staycation where we could spend some time with the kids. We noticed that there were some deals for City of Dreams, and since we’d promised our son to bring him back to Dreamplay after the summer was over, we looked to book a deluxe room through Agoda.

Basically after a payment is made, Shopback tracks what I paid for and I get a percentage of it back. (The amount varies per merchant, but I spent enough to get a P400 cashback!) The best part is that you do get your money back, either into your Paypal account or your bank account.

Try it out for yourselves! If you refer a friend, you get a P100 bonus credited to your Shopback account. If you decide to sign up, you can use my Shopback link, too. (You’ll help me pay for my son’s Dreamplay reward for working so hard at basketball this summer!)

Let me know how it goes! After all, what could be more fun than doing a little shopping from home and getting some of that cash back?
